HPL engineers designed this 6 story Condo building with a basement in Queens NYC. The basement is for parking garage. The first floor will be used for public area. The building will be constructed using a special permanently stay-in-place insulation decks as forms for pouring concrete floor joist slabs. The exterior walls will be poured concrete bearing walls to support the floor slabs. The concrete beams in the middle of the floors are designed to support the floors. Large girders at first floor to support the rear bearing walls were designed in order to keep open space for garage below. Sheeting and shoring for the excavation were also designed.
