HPL engineer designed this 14 story Condo building with a cellar in Long Island City, Queens. The lot is 40’X100’ with full cellar for retail and mech. Rooms. The 1st floor is used as lobby and retail and 40'x70’ from 2nd floor to 14th floor for apartments and an elevator stair bulkhead above. The building was designed as poured in place concrete supported on caisson piles. Since the building is only 16 feet close to nearby subway under Jackson Ave. Carefully shoring for excavation and drilled caisson piling for the building was designed.
